Shaking off the doldrums
Life has been fine, but of late I have been finding it difficult to locate my blogging energy. I think it might be hiding behind Charles Clarke's ears but I'm too scared to look back there.
While I have been away, Gordon is still screwing up the economy, Blair is still a smug git and Clarke is still rushing us all headlong into a police state. So nothing has changed really.
Why do I bother? I think...
Then I see this...

I really don't know what scares me more; The fact that something like this could happen in a school, or the fact that the perpetrator was 12 years old.
Something is really wrong with the system of discipline in our schools.
Was corporal punishment really that bad? Are Parental Contracts any better?
